Mission Statement

The Washington County Sheriff's Office is a law enforcement agency sworn to protect and serve all persons and property of Washington County.

Our mission is to efficiently administer the civil process, effectively serve and enforce the orders of our courts, oversee the issuance of licenses to carry firearms, and provide for the safety of our courthouse. We uphold the laws of our society and actively assist local, state, and federal agencies to insure the process of justice.

We pledge our service, commitment, and cooperation to our courts, other law enforcement and government agencies, and to the public, who have entrusted us with these duties.
