The Chief of Staff is appointed by the County Commissioners to oversee all county departments, excluding row offices; to represent the Commissioners in ensuring that the residents of Washington County are being properly served by the County; to ensure sound financial management of county departments and to coordinate activities between: Directors and Elected County Officials and the Board of Commissioners.
