Inmate Visiting

VISITOR INFORMATION & RULES:

Effective at 2000 hours on November 18, 2020, all in-house visitation and programs will cease.  One (1) hour of free video visitation is currently being authorized through ICSoultions.  Governmental staff and attorneys will be permitted in the building as long as the screening form is used.  Failure to submit to the screening will result in automatic refusal to the building.  This order will be in effect until further notice. Any individual needing access to the lobby must use the intercom in the lobby vestibule.  The general public will be permitted inside the lobby 1 at a time between the hours of 0830-2000.

• 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
   

The Facility is closed on weekends and all County Holidays.

GENERAL RULES

1. All visitors wishing to schedule an onsite, face to face visit, must create an account through https://icsolutions.com/ . For more information on how to schedule visitation, please click the link provided. https://thevisitor.icsenforcer.com/index.php/jail-information/105-waspa. Once the account is created, it must be approved by the Facility staff before a visit can be scheduled. Visits can be scheduled up to 2 weeks in advance and no later than 24 hours in advance. Family, friends and counsel, both legal and religious are generally accepted. However, any person that does not contribute to the inmate’s rehabilitation will not be admitted. This includes any person that is on probation or parole, falsely represents themselves, is disruptive, has no legitimate purpose for visiting, or is believed by the Facility to contribute to the inmates' behaviors that caused them to be incarcerated.
2. All visitors must arrive before 11:00, 4:00 and 7:30 so that we can ensure that you receive the half hour visit.
3. Inmates may receive two, thirty minute visits per week. These may be combined into one, sixty minute visit at the inmate's request and the discretion of the Officer and Visitor Receptionist.
4. As a visitor, your name must appear on the approved visitor list or you will not be admitted.
5. Valid photo identification for adults (any person over sixteen years of age) is required. We will only accept a driver’s license, Department of Transportation identification or other photo government identification. NO EXCEPTIONS.
6. Nothing may be taken into the Facility. Lockers are provided to secure your personal items. Jackets, coats and any other outer garment must be placed in the locker. If it will not fit in a locker, you must return it to your vehicle.
7. Visitors may not wear a hat or cover their head while in the facility. They also may not have a hat or any type of head covering in their possession while in the Facility.
8. The County is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Visitors are encouraged to leave anything of value at home.
9. All visitors and their possessions are subject to search at anytime.
10. No weapon, tool or anything that could be used as a weapon or tool is allowed in the Facility or lobby at any time. Official, law enforcement visitors must secure all weapons in the secure locker in the entry vestibule.
11. All visitors must be able to pass through the metal detector without activating the warning. If you can not pass, you will not be admitted or may be required to submit to a clothed search before being admitted to the Facility.
12. Any visitor under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. The child must be kept with the parent at all times, no further than an arms length away. The child must remain seated and under control at all times. If the child is running around, is not in reach of the parent or becomes disruptive at anytime, the visitor will be required to leave the Facility.
13. Money can be deposited on an inmate's account in 3 ways: in the Lobby Kiosk which accepts cash, visa or Mastercard: on the web at accesscorrections.com which accepts visa or Mastercard: or by phone at 866-345-1884 which accepts visa or Mastercard. As of October 8, 2013, money orders will no longer be accepted through the window at WCCF.
14. Effective 1/15/21, the facility will no longer be accepting personal clothing (T-shirts, sox, bra's, underwear, etc.) through the mail. All underclothes can now be purchased via KEEFE Commissary. Permitted items are 7 pairs of white socks, 7 white T-shirts, 7 pairs of white underpants, 7 bras (female only), and one pair of white thermal underwear. If an order should exceed the allotted amount, those items shall be placed in personal property.  1 set of court clothes will also be permitted to be kept in storage if they are to be tried by jury only.  The clothing will need approved by a member of Jail Administration. If the clothing contains anything other than those items permitted, the contents will be donated to a charitable organization. Any items sent from friends or family that are post marked after 1/15/21 will not be accepted.

    * All visits have to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and up to one week in advance
    * All visits are 25 minutes long. Offsite visits can be done by the visitor at home using a computer or phone with a camera and a Windows or Android operating system. Currently, the visits cannot be done on iPhone.
    * All visits are recorded and monitored. Any violations of the visitation rules may result in termination of your visit and / or suspension of your visitation privileges and the privileges of your visitor.
    * If you are an Attorney, once you have created an account with ICSolutions, you must then contact the facility directly and provide a copy of your current ID and Attorney BAR Card. After submitting proof of your status as an attorney, the facility will configure your Video Visitation account as "confidential" – and therefore not subjected to monitoring and recording .
    * For any questions or concerns please call IC Solutions Video Support @ 1 (888) 646-9437.  Please do not call the jail for issues with scheduling or registering.  
    
    WHAT A VISITOR MAY BRING FOR AN INMATE  
     
15. THE FACILITY WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING MONEY ORDERS OR CERTIFIED CHECKS. (See rule #13) This also includes stamps, paper and envelopes. The inmate may purchase these from the commissary.
16. As of March 12th. 2021, the facility will no longer be accepting reading material (books/magazines, etc.) mailed into the facility. Reading material post marked date later than Friday March 12, 2021 will be returned to sender.
17. Clothing will only be ordered via KEEFE Commissary as described in rule #14.
     

WHAT AN INMATE MAY RELEASE TO A VISITOR
 

1. GENERALLY, THE FACILITY DOES NOT RELEASE ANYTHING. Inmates may request to release certain items or funds. If it is found to be a legitimate request, we will consider it. This is generally only granted when keys are needed, or an emergency exists pertaining to the inmate and their commitments outside the Facility. Each request is considered on a case by case basis.
2. You must be present to check on a property release.
3. Due to the paper work needed to protect inmates and their funds, Property will only be released at the following times: Funds and/or Personal items: Monday thru Friday 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Personal Items Only: Monday thru Friday 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. 
    

VISITOR BEHAVIOR

1. Visitors must maintain the highest level of behavior at all times. Yelling, cursing or becoming disruptive in any way will cause you to lose your visiting privileges.
2. Attempting to communicate with any inmate other than in a visiting booth is not permitted. Standing, loitering, waving, yelling, etc. anywhere around the Facility is not permitted and will cause you to lose your visiting privileges.
    

TOBACCO FREE POLICY

The use or possession of any tobacco product and associated devices is strictly prohibited in any area of the Washington County Correctional Facility, the adjoining buildings and grounds. All of these items must remain at home or locked in your vehicle.

LOSS OF VISITATION PRIVILEGES

Any visitor that violates any of these rules will be required to leave the Facility and the surrounding grounds and will not be permitted to return. The inmates are depending on you to protect their visits and to provide them with support during their stay here. Don't let them down.

INMATE TELEPHONE CALLS

1. Inmates are permitted to make phone calls throughout the day. It is the responsibility of the called person to set up an account with ICSolutions so they may receive calls. All calls are subject to monitoring, recording and may be intercepted or divulged.
2. To set up accounts and all questions concerning inmate telephone calls, please contact ICSolutions on the web at ICSolutions.com which accepts Visa, MasterCard, and debit cards: by at phone- 888-506-8407. Deposits can also be made by visiting your local Western Union. Additionally, deposits may be made by cashier's check or money order made payable to ICSolutions and mailed to:

3. If you are an Attorney, you must contact the facility directly and provide a copy of you current ID and Attorney BAR Card. • All visits are recorded and monitored. Any violations of the visitation rules may result in termination of your visit and / or suspension of your visitation privileges and the privileges of your visitor. 
• Inmates must be on time for their visits. Check the Kiosk daily to see if you have a visit scheduled. It is your responsibility to check to see if you have a visit. 
• Inmates log in to the Visitation Kiosk using the same number used to make phone calls. 
• The Inmate Portal will list who is coming to see you and you can cancel the visit if you do not want to see the visitor.
• If your family or friends have any issues scheduling or creating accounts, they can call IC Solutions Video Support @ 1 (888) 646-9437. Do not have the family call the jail for issues with scheduling or registering. 
       

**Effective 4/23/19,  the Correctional Facility will no longer be accepting photographs by mail. All photo's must be sent in digitally through accesscorrections.com
